The GPA is weighted. Which is a way of calculating a GPA so it differentiates college-prep classes. For example, a weighted GPA gives more value to an “A” grade in an AP geometry class than an “A” in a regular geometry class.
To qualify for Promise, you must have a 3.0 GPA upon graduation from high school. For Passport to Promise, you must have a 2.5-2.99.
