How many years do students have to use their Promise scholarship?

Students are eligible for two years of scholarships for two-year institutions with the option for a one-year deferral after graduation from high school and for four years of scholarships for four-year institutions with an option for a one-year deferral after graduation from high school.  In both cases enrollment must be full-time.  Students moving from two to four-year institutions are eligible for up to two more years of scholarships.
